a daily update of what went down today. good day, and i’m still going. i have to stay up late tonight and finish up a school project. pure suicide.
anyways. woke up this morning got flowers for mom and a card for dad. ‘rents came and took us to this really neat place called the williamsburgh cafe for breakfast. drove into manhatten dropped clint off for band practice then went to the hotel with mom and dad for a nap time. i ended up not napping and instead watched the whole ten yards. it was dumb funny.

dinner time rolled around and we surprised dad first by going to felidia’s. its like the houte coture of eating. it was intense. in the middle of the appetizer the server brings out four more glasses and another bottle of wine saying it was from some guy. but we didn’t know the guy and it turned out to be some kind of mix up. a little later on, they bring out four plates of sample food and four glasses of a really fruity wine. this also was a gift. but this time we knew the guy, and let me tell you… if you want to impress someone, order a glass of wine and an appetizer thing for them the next time they go to a really nice restaurant. it will make you look like you “know people” and can “pull strings”.

during dinner we surprised dad again when we informed him that we had gotten him tix to see the color purple. he thought it was all sold out. boy was he excited. after dinner we taxied on over to the broadway theater to see the color purple. it was an awesome little musical. (if you like that sort of thing).

so now i’m back in brooklyn safe and sound and i have to finish up some school work before i go to bed. ewww.
