Now is a very “hot” time in Belarus. Many foreigners have been deported from the country, and for many foreigners not allowed to come to Belarus. Churches are being persecuted and KGB is very active trying to keep everything under control. The Date of election for the president is March 19. And I want you to pray with us, that God would destroy the fear in people’s hearts, and give wisdom to do a right choice.

On March 3, pastor of the Baptist church Heorhi Viazouski was arrested and sent to prison for 10 days. His church consists of about 40 members. The reason why he was arrested is because the church service took place in a private house in Minsk. But this is not a private house, this is a church building, but the government doesn?t give permission for exploitation this house for church.
We have almost the same situation when we have our meetings, because we haven’t our own building for church. Please, pray with us that God would provide us to buy our own building for church.
And please, pray with us for peaceful elections and that may all lawless efforts be destroyed by God.

i don’t know. i’m not a hardcore programmer. in fact, as the title says, i’m just a scrip kiddie. this means that i download a lot of open source software and pretend to know what i’m doing. this tends to impress a lot of people. aside from that, i’ve downloaded and implemented a wiki in etherealnation.net. its for a class project, so its not public yet. (NO LINK FOR YOU). but eventually i will invite everyone to it because i know you all LOVE wikis and i will need feedback on it. eventually, this wiki will become what i consider a proof of concept for a full-out integrated informal learning management system (FOIILMS). for those of you who care, that’s just a fancy way of saying, i’m in a grad program and i’m trying to think of a really good research paper to write.

hi hi everybody out there in internet land. i just created a spiffy new page where you can check out where i’ve been lately. its a little html script from the folks at yelp. first, i would like to apologize for its itty-bitty size. while its cute and all, its really difficult to really tell where i’ve been. it would be nice if the allowed some zoom control action to it. there is no second or third now that i think about it, so i’m going to end the post with a link to my yelp page

ps. i just added an animation feature, so you can at least see each individual destination every 5 seconds. still trying to see how to make the map bigger tho.
pss. i edited some of the html now too. its a little bit bigger and easier to handle. i’m not sure how to put in zoom control etc. so i’ll let that lie.
