Hello friends, this is Charles. I hope you are well.

This is a mass email to tell you about a show I will be in called City
Sol. It is located at the arts/community center Solar One at
Stuyvesant Cove Park along the East River at 22rd street.

City Sol is a clean energy arts festival, and this year there will be
a ton of bands and a ton of art installations.

Check the site for directions, the schedule of events, and look at
some of the other artists involved.
Some of the bands are Dragons of Zynth, Les Savy Fav, Brightside, High Places,
Land of Talk, and O’Death. There are more.

The opening is Thursday, July 12, 6-10PM. I want everyone I know to come.
But if you can’t make it, please come some other time during the
weekend to check out my piece and some of the other works, and musical
acts. The show will be up all day, everyday until Sunday the 15th, and
there will be a ton of events and bands playing everyday and night of
the festival. So check it.

Brooklyn Brewery is sponsoring the event, so there will be cheap
drinks, and if you bring a reusable cup, you get $1 off drinks.

My piece is a video surveillance kiosk called “vs.”, and it is the
most intense thing I have ever made. I am proud of it, and I want you
all to see it.
