Vocaloid 2 is software that maps a humans voice to your words and music. Just think, you’re crossing that old party trick favorite in windows that you program to say “Poop Guac” with a vocoder and midi. Whew. Gizmodo posted a couple samples in this blog post. Please expect to hear some Japanese chick singing “LIGHTNING BOMB” in an upcoming release, as I immediately downloaded this software as soon as I heard about it.

As a strange little mix up, I thought somehow I had officially announced this last night. But for those of you checking in on the site, IT’S OFFICIAL. As many of you know I received the gift of virtual rock and roll for my birthday. Well, those great creative folks at Harmonix have seen fit to open up their planned community site for the game. I’m on there as prodaea, so you can check it out. You might also be able to find all of the bands we’ve made from Peasants With Pitchforks to Kantian Fever and beyond! But beware. Since they launched it it’s all kinds of slow since everyone and their mother is logging in to check it out.

what a wonderful weekend! just wanted to outline a particularly fun night of revelry in which most included dressed up for the occasion. Our little clique threw a great little Hallowember party (or Novoween)(turns out, it was actually titled: Novlowganza), hosted by the gentleman Ali G. and his main squeeze, Giant Cow.. Myself and Sarah were dressed as Red Beard the Fierce and Sissy the Wench, respectively. Among the host that attended were the landlord couple from 3’s company (they looked awesome! i just can never remember their names), Peter Sellers, Doug and his girlfriend (can’t remember her name either… sorry), a girl who was attending the wrong holiday (she thought it was new years), a ghost, a lamp, a highway, a Slytherin Student from Hogwart’s, and Bonnie and Clyde. I think I got everything…. at anyrate you get the point. With costumes and personality’s galore, we danced the night away to awesome tunes like Thriller and the Monster Mash (It was a graveyard smash!). SO CHEERS TO YOU, PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO WEAR COSTUMES ‘CAUSE IT’S SO MUCH FUN!

last night was halloween, and halloween is now a time for kids and adults alike to release the cultural bondages of expected clothing in order to dress in whatever fashion you choose. i wish that i could dress like a pirate all the time, but i can’t. so last night (and for the renaissance fair.. hey! life is good, what can i say), i dressed in my really awesome pirate costume. sarah dressed in a crab claw costume. janel dressed in traditional Indian garb. and maggie dressed as a ball of yarn! oh the fun we had. after the official party ended the four of us and my brother (dressed as himself, acting as a… what was acting as anyways?) went out about the rofo town to see the sights and show off our awesome costumes. (the pictures are coming, trust me). the night that ensued was fun, educational, and spooky! and i write all this to say this: all you loyal blog readers are in for a treat at my 53R1A75 blog, as i will be doing a review of the windows of the now-beloved “Everything Deserves a Second Chance” Store (hopefully in collaboration with my brother). just so you’re warned.

hello my loverlies,

my apologies at being aways for so long. lots of new developments going on though.

if you visit my site and ever get really bored (which is really easy since i don’t update as much as i should), you may have noticed a neat little page to the right called “yelp.” yelp is a fun little “web2.0″ site where people congregate and share reviews of local commercial venues. i usually like to write a few paragraphs here and there when i go out about town. well, apparently the people at yelp like me so much i was selected to be an elite yelper! so check it out – my yelp site
