Also for you “little present” types…

I’ve received several requests for “little presents”. For little presents I will refer you to a few places your choice.

  1. Donate money to a missions fund (I’ll get more details on which one the family is giving to.)
  2. I just updated my amazon wish list. It’s chock full of books, cd’s, dvd’s, and video games. You don’t have to buy stuff from amazon, it’s just a list. Some of it you won’t be able to find anywhere else though.
  3. Work clothes. Argyle socks, slacks, collared shirts (I prefer solid colors), ties.

Happy hunting!

edit: It also occurs to me that many of you could be considering gift cards. Please don’t give me gift cards. I’m going to England over new years, GBP’s or USD would be much better used. Thanks!

More Politics? WTH? WTF? OMG? Lee’s losing his mind?!

So over the past week or so I’ve seen a lot of people out with Ron Paul signs, I’ve seen a couple news briefs about his blimp, I heard about a Guy Fawkes day fundraiser [[more on Guy Fawkes]] (done indepentantly of the RP campaign itself), and then today I read about a Boston Tea Party Reenactment as a fund raiser. Faithful readers may know I have already cast my lot in the upcoming election – for Ron Paul. At any rate the Tea Party article inspired me to troll around on the Ron Paul site today. I’ve been there before just reading various press releases etc., but today I decided to get involved. I probably won’t go to any rally’s or anything like that – it’s not really my style. But I did decide to link to his site so people know a) I’m voting for him and b) they can go to his site to get more info. Also, I just found out that for the Pennsylvania primaries, I have to be registered Republican. But based on the info on his site, I’ve got some time to do so. (I’m currently registered Libertarian. Come to think, if Ron Paul doesn’t get nominated, I’ll probably re-register back to Libertarian… if PA allows that sort of thing. More on that later.)

(oh and sarah asked if I get a kick back on donations through the link. The answer is a resounding no. In fact they most likely don’t know I’m linking to their site. I simply don’t generate that much traffic.)

xoxo

and the winner is…

for a lack of items to post today ( or shear laziness) and the fact that i wanted to post something… anything… i present to you, my 2007 christmas/birthday list:

Here’s some quick stats… in case you weren’t paying attention.

  1. these items are expensive. therefore they’re optional… unless you decide to get the video games (i would like both if i get any).
  2. two of these items are bags. one bag would be for work, the other for my trip to england.
  3. none of these items are necessities. I want to make it perfectly clear, these are all leisure related, luxury driven wishes that i have. things that i wouldn’t get for myself for another year or two, if at all. (well, i’ll probably get one of the video games before next year… but still..) Got them! Thanks mom and dad!

Thank-you in advance for your holiday cooperation. And if you decide to opt out, surprise me. I’m going to England right after Christmas.
