That’s the title of the new album. for those of you who keep track and/or care at all, i started in the fall working on an album conceptual of media. i scrapped that when everything sounded like pop-punk/the media instead of anti-the media. so, moving on i got into ableton live 5
this program is a cross between a mixer/programmer and a synth (like reason). it let me record live and programmed stuff sooo much easier. since i figured out the program i’ve recorded three songs with a fourth upcoming. this new album will be entirely electronica and based on the freakish layering of your heart is bleeding on my eye

i’ve posted the three new songs on my site they are: The Evil Axis is Controlling Your Mind and You’re Killing Me, eXit May Require Death Upon Entry, and Yomiku Lied to Her Mother and Reaped Her Reward.

hey all. on the forum i posted about how some biter tried to steal a poem. i should give him a little more credit though because he changed four or so lines. anyways, he promptly removed the sinister poem when i pointed this out, so i had to take a screenshot of the offense from the google cache before google then deleted it. so here it is on the left. you should be able to click it, download it, whatever, so you can actually see something other than my desktop. also you can find the original poem in thechampionshiphouse.com. i think that about covers it.

so… some of my friends in bloomsburg think it may actually be possible to start a roller derby league here in bloom town. of course, i wouldn’t be able to play (its a girl-only sport) but i would be more like the league commissioner (if that doesn’t violate the age old traditions of the sport). at any rate, chalk up one more project on my plate. woooohooooo.

second upcoming thing is building a vpn server. i have my old computer here in bloomtown now, so its only a matter of time before i put in hard-drives, load up xp, netserv, hamachi, and iTunes. when that happens i’ll be hosting a friends-only sort of LAN/WAN/VPN complete with personal ftp/http space and a forum for everyone. hopefully it will catch on and my peeps will use it (even though i know its kind of major on the technology end of things. but hey, wouldn’t it be really really cool?

also, i just realized that this blogger thing isn’t saving my posts to an archive. this could be bad, so i’m going to try and fix it sometime this week.

ok, so i know no one reads this (pitty party) (its ok cuz i probably don’t read yours) but i have a wandering story to tell. no really. i have no idea where its going, only where its starting. so here goes.

i’m innocently watching tv. i should say unsuspectingly (is that a word)(i made it up) watching tv. you know, the usual. start the evening with house, save two patients then surf the channels. when what to my wondering eyes do appear but these crazy chicks beating the crap out of each other in really cool outfits with names like sister mary jane and smarty pants. suddenly, i’m sucked into the vortex of rollerderby. what the heck? the shows over and i’m thinking 3 things. 1) mary jane makes my brain explode 2) i want to go see a philly rollerderby 3) its not fair that there isn’t a guys league. i mean i didn’t look into its history but it looks like it started as a marketing stunt in the sex-role beleagered world of the fifties. at any rate i’d probably play one game and hate it, since i hate pain so much. besides if there was a guys league i’m pretty sure there would be more deaths and other terminal injuries. not to say in a round about way that girls are wimps, but seriously, in the one bout i watched there were like 4-5 straight out fist fights and the director removed any major presence of the referees (if there was any to remove). it scared the poop out of me. to sum up that thought; if you put a bunch of guys in that situation, i don’t think a ref in the world would be able to peel a pile of pissed off guys fast enough to prevent skulls from being collapsed under the weight of some massive dude’s six-inch wide fist. (if such a thing exists, and it could) maybe its just part of the game… like if men mixed rugby with ultimate fighting on wheels or something.

so maybe men should start our own counter-cultural tough sport. i would probably call the sport shitfaced, but that’s not so marketable so i’m open to suggestions. the basic tools of the game are bmx bikes, a football and a roller hockey rink. and basically what you get is a steroid induced version of polo. god this sounds great.

on a final note i have come to three conclusions 1) i desperately have to find a passion in life, 2) i really need to stop watching tv… i mean cold turkey. no more is no more and 3) sister mary jane is my new crush (albeit probably the dumbest feeling i’ve ever thought) (yes, i did use feeling and thought in the same sentence)(go me)

p.s. i currently have a running theory/observation girls who work in special education are always smart and very often very cute.
p.s.s. the thing that is so hard about this observation is that i’m constantly kicking myself for saying that something is “retarded” around people (particularly really cute, really smart girls) who work in special education. boo for me.

ethereal nation.net is growing

hey all you out there in internet land. just a quick note to let everyone know that etherealnation.net is growing in another new networky kind of way. i recently ran into a program that runs a very simple unobtrusive VPN between computers to create a LAN environment over the internet. what this means is that if we are connected to this VPN its the same as being connected to other computers in your house or school and can file share and other fun things. well, when i get back to bloomsburg i’m going to set up a computer that will permanently run a hamachi network with ftp and http server protocols. WHAT THIS MEANS… is that once you are connected to me on the hamachi network you can check out an intranet messageboard and ftp. WHICH MEANS that you can effectively share stuff with me and all of us at the chaho etc.

i know this sounds confusing as all get out and may actually cause some heads to ‘splode, but take my word. THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER EVER EVER.

christmas, new years, hamachi, katamari

merry christmas and a happy new year to all you out in internet land. it has been a great break for me and i hope a great one for you too. my bro and i wasted a good deal of our friends time by making them watch us roll things up with our katamari on psp. how much fun? a lot.

second up is a new little program called hamachi. you can set up private networks uber easy and share stuff like itunes on them. for those of you who actually read my internet diary of sorts, i am currently hosting a hamachi server named championship house. you have to email me for the password tho. i don’t want creepy people stalking me. that would suck.

the radio show is due to start jan 16th i think. no word yet if it will be podcast or not. i would like to get that working again though. i think that about covers it. have a wonderful day you all.

hello all. its lee here. finished up finals wednesday. as much of a relief as it is, i’ve still got a few more miles to go. some more enjoyable than others. one enjoyable upcoming event is snowboarding in the catskills this weekend. i’ll be with clint, yarles, jasmine and one of their friends. yeehaw… just make it through the day. that’s the plan. also, i’ll be listen to CASH all day, so give my love to Rose.

hey all, as you know it was an… interesting weekend. or interesting thursday night i should say. we definately have to do that again. i hope you all know, i just posted last weeks radio show on the podcast so update your itunes/etc. if you need any help let me know. classes are getting crazy but the radio show will survive. if you have new tunes you want to hear let me know. again for this podcast there isn’t a playlist, i’m hoping to have that fixed as i get the show more organized.
