It’s time to get a mystery party together. While I haven’t yet decided on a particular plot, the theme will be PIRATES! So all of you close to me who be diggin ma vibe, be on the look out for a freaking awesome costume. The date has been set for 2 months in advance - may 17th and official invites are bound to be seen in the next two weeks or so.

Vocaloid 2 is software that maps a humans voice to your words and music. Just think, you’re crossing that old party trick favorite in windows that you program to say “Poop Guac” with a vocoder and midi. Whew. Gizmodo posted a couple samples in this blog post. Please expect to hear some Japanese chick singing “LIGHTNING BOMB” in an upcoming release, as I immediately downloaded this software as soon as I heard about it.

if you read my other blog - rleecreasy.com, you know that i’ve already raved about this. but for you crazy space heads out there or for anyone that likes to look at simply amazing things, this is for you. google sky. The only reason i can think of that i’m not on that site for 24 hours a day is that it confuses the death out of me that i’m standing on earth looking at the sky, as opposed to hanging out of a satellite looking down at the earth. ancient people who were more intimately aware of the sky would have no problems figuring out what google sky is looking at. i am not one of those people.
